XenDesktop Enterprise and Platinum editions include XenApp Enterprise and Platinum respectively, but XenApp is also available on its own. Unlike XenDesktop, when XenApp is purchased on its own, it is licenced only on a concurrent-use basis - one licence used per session in active use. When you log off, the licence is freed.
